Dimitrios Kourouklis is an attorney licensed to practice in New York State with many years of legal experience specializing in personal injury, slip and fall, motor vehicle accidents, bed bugs, medical malpractice, premises liability, commercial litigation, and intellectual property.  Dr. Kourouklis is also admitted to the Patent Bar with many years of legal experience in patent prosecution.
 

Dimitrios was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where he currently resides.  Dr. Kourouklis is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science.  Dimitrios obtained his Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Buffalo in 1998 majoring in Chemistry.  He stayed at the University of Buffalo and completed his Ph.D. degree in the field of Bio-Organic Chemistry in 2005.  Dimitrios’ dissertation was titled “Development of a New Method For Non-Natural Amino Acid Mutagenesis of Proteins Based on a Ribozyme Technology.”  Dr. Kourouklis’ graduate work in conjunction with the work of his fellow colleagues resulted in three publications and one patent.

 Upon graduating from the University at Buffalo, Dimitrios returned to Brooklyn and enrolled in law school at New York Law School.  Dimitrios was enrolled in the evening division.  During the day, Dimitrios worked in a law firm gaining valuable legal experience.  While he was still in law school, Dimitrios passed the Patent Bar.  In 2009, Dr. Kourouklis graduated from New York Law School.  He was admitted to the New York Bar in 2010.
