I was working for a company delivering food and I got in accident apparently for what ever reason there insurance is not covered

What was the $6,000 for? Please explain. Also it seems that your employer should defend you and hold you harmless since you were acting within he scope of your employment. You may have a claim for workers’ compensation and/or personal injury claim. You need to speak with a local attorney.
